Lois Elisabeth Higgins, daughter of Ervie Oscar Higgins and Elizabeth Opal Gaunt, was born July 6, 1923 in Live Oak, Sutter County, California.  She is my 5th cousin once removed via the Gaunts.

Harriet Sharon Gordon, daughter of Sidney Gordon and Beatrice Roll, was born July 6, 1947 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  She is my 1st cousin once removed on my Gordon line.

Abel A. Armstrong, son of Stacy Biddle Armstrong and Lydia Smith Haines, and Anna Liepic were married July 6, 1933 in Burlington, Burlington County, New Jersey.  Abel is my 1st cousin once removed on my Armstrong line.

Richard Hacker and Neva Perlman, daughter of Murray Elliot Perlman and Helen Ruth Greenebaum, were married July 6, 1976 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  Neva is my 4th cousin on my Nowicki line through the Perlmans.

Samuel Sidney Kushner, son of George Kushner and Ruth Rebecca Segal, and Kathleen M. Fisher were married July 6, 1985 in San Bernardino County, California.  Samuel is my 4th cousin on my Meckler line through the Kushners.

Robert Eric Socherman and Darcia Joy McDaniel were married July 6, 2008 in Multnomah County, Oregon.  Robert is my 4th cousin once removed.

Death

Blanche Gaunt, daughter of Lewis Cass Gaunt and Mary A. Kindlesparger, died July 6, 1948 in Indiana at the age of 73.  She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

William H. Bowen, son of Joseph Bowen and Martha Baden(?), was born July 5, 1852 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.  He is the great-grandfather of my half-sister Laura Sellers.

Daisy May Gage, daughter of James W. Gage and Mary Rosella Hutson, was born July 5, 1875 in Napoleon, Ripley County, Indiana.  She is my 5th cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line through the Hutsons.

William James Bowen, son of William H. Bowen and Mary, was born July 5, 1883 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, on his father's 31st birthday.  He is the half granduncle of my half-sister Laura Sellers.

Elsie May West was born July 5, 1901 in Moorestown, Burlington County, New Jersey.  She was the wife of Robert Elwood Gauntt, son of Mark Lewallen Gauntt and Rhonda Ewing, who is my 3rd cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line.

Rose Rothman was born July 5, 1947 in Germany.  She is/was the wife of Kevin Kardash, son of Louis Kardash and Mary Udashkin, who is my 2nd cousin once removed on my Gorodetsky line through the Kardashes.

Edith McStroul, daughter of Leo Martin McStroul and Anna Krebs, died July 5, 1977 in San Diego, San Diego County, California.  She is the aunt of my aunt Mary McStroul.

Arthur George Barnett was born July 4, 1907 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  He was the third husband of Catherine Marie Sellers, daughter of Cornelius Elmer Sellers and Laura May Armstrong, who is my grandaunt.

Thomas Bassett was also born July 4, 1907, but in Oklahoma.  He was the husband of Marjorie Alene Gaunt, daughter of Charles Gaunt and Pearl E. Cory, who is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Rubin Perlman, son of Louis Perlman and Jennie Nowicki, was born July 4, 1909 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  He is my 1st cousin 2x removed via the Nowickis.

Miriam Kramer was born July 4, 1910 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  She was the wife of Rubin Perlman, above. so husband and wife had the same birthday (but they didn't get married on July 4)!

James Knox Polk Gaunt, son of Uz Gaunt and Sarah Ann Whitacre, and Sarah Naomi Boone were married July 4, 1873 in Indiana, probably in Wabash County.  James is also my 2nd cousin 4x removed via the Gaunts because he is the brother of Louisa Gaunt, above.

Roscoe Sherman Flynn and Edna May Gauntt, daughter of Thomas Kirkland Gauntt and Jane Dunstan, were married July 4, 1920 in Hainesport, Burlington County, New Jersey.  Edna is my grandaunt.

Gerald E. White and Ruth Carrie Stradling, daughter of Charles Cooper Stradling and Anna Gauntt, were married July 4, 1935 in Mount Holly, Burlington County, New Jersey.  Ruth is my half-aunt.

Edward C. Ogden died July 1939 in Woodbury, Gloucester County, New Jersey at the age of 70.  He was the husband of Anna Elizabeth Gaunt, daughter of George Horner Gaunt and Emily A. Miller, who is my 4th cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

Anna M. McElwee, daughter of David P. McElwee and Mary Virginia Gaunt, died July 4, 1964 in Easthampton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of 61.  Anna is my 2nd cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Murray Cohen, son of Louis Cohen and Jennie Kardish, was born July 3, 1942 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  He is my 2nd cousin once removed on my Gorodetsky line through the Kardishes.

Scott Chepenik was born July 3, 1974.  He is my 2nd cousin.

Jordan Ari Moss was born July 3, 1995.  He is my 4th cousin once removed.

William David Perlman, son of Morton Eli Perlman and Doris Bash, was born July 2, 1947 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  He is my 2nd cousin once removed on my Nowicki line through the Perlmans.

Dale Heath Rapp, son of Archie Howard Rapp and Nellie Heath, was born July 2, 1952 in New York, probably in Warren County.  He is the 3rd cousin of my aunt Mary McStroul via the Heaths.

Eric Scott Gaunt was born July 2, 1972.  He is my 5th cousin once removed.

Jeremy Alan Gaunt was born July 2, 1979.  He is my 6th cousin.

Samuel Michael Brainin, son of Nathan(?) Katz and Lena Brainin, and Sylvia Diamon were married July 2, 1995 in Tarzana, Los Angeles County, California.  Sammy is my 1st cousin 2x removed via the Brainins.

Patrick Clark Gaunt, son of Charles Clayton Gaunt and Doris Lavon Benward, was born July 1, 1941, probably in Indiana.  He is my 6th cousin via the Gaunts.

Thomas Edwin Guy,, son of William Thomas Guy and Patricia Claire Gauntt, was born July 1, 1959, probably in New Jersey or Pennsylvania.  He is my 5th cousin once removed via the Gauntts.

Jennifer Lynn Wakefield was born July 1, 1968.  She is married to Richard John Dunn, who is my 2nd cousin.

Cannie Beatrice Crawford, daughter of Henry Crawford and America Brooks, died July 1, 1935 in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia at the age of 37.  She is the great-grandaunt of my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.

Berdella Martha Elisa Abplanalp died July 1, 1967 in Ripley County, Indiana at the age of 69.  She was the wife of Calvin William Hutson, son of Conner W. Hutson and Rosa A. Bultman, who is my 5th cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line through the Hutsons.

I recently was able to install the current version of Family Tree Maker (version 2019), after being mired in Reunion for the past couple of years after a hard drive crash.  (Sorry, Reunion fans.)  I decided to enter a lot of information that I've been holding aside because I didn't want to put it in Reunion.  It was actually a lot of fun, and I spent more than an hour doing it!  And I was able to share the updated family tree information with a cousin I had promised it to.

That doesn't really sound as though I did a lot, but I felt a real sense of accomplishment, because I have gotten so far behind on data entry.  I don't know if I'll be able to talk myself into doing this on a regular basis, but it's a great start!
