Events in My Family Tree: January 8

The most noteworthy person on today's list is Rebecca Mulliner, because through her father, Moses Mulliner, I'm supposedly eligible for membership in Daughters of the American Revoluion.  Even though I still haven't submitted an initial packet yet.

Births

Maria Mack, daughter of Jacob Mack and Hannah Englehart, was born January 8, 1765 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania.  She is my 2nd cousin 6x removed.

Daniel W. Votaw was born January 8, 1848 in Indiana.  He was married to Louisa Gaunt, daughter of Uz Gaunt and Sarah A. Whitacre, who is my 2nd cousin 4x removed.

Maggie Sellers, daughter of William H. Sellers and Nancy L. Derr, was born January 8, 1866.  She is my 4th cousin 3x removed.

Cheryl Ann Parker was born January 8, 1961.  She is my 5th cousin once removed through my Gauntt line.

Marriages

James Rogers and Rebecca Mulliner were married on January 8, 1800, probably in Burlington County, New Jersey.  Rebecca, daughter of Moses Mulliner and Mary Holden, is my 4x-great-grandmother.

Elsie Meckler
Louis Mark Leonard and Elsie Meckler were married on January 8, 1949 in Los Angeles County, California.  Elsie, daughter of Morris Meckler and Minnie Zelda Nowicki, is my grandaunt.

Walter Robert Easlick and Marie Helen Loterizo were also married on January 8, 1949.  Walter, son of Daniel Leon Easlick and Ella Ritchie Miingen, is my 4th cousin through my Gauntt line.

Deaths

Samuel Eckman, son of John Eckman, died January 8, 1905 in Pointville-Wrightstown, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of 57.  He is the grandfather of my grandaunt Bertha Poinsett Eckman and granduncle Edwin Bunting Eckman.

Noela Agnes Walton, daughter of Jerome B. Walton and Susan Sellers, died January 8, 1953 at the age of 93 in Uniopolis, Auglaize County, Ohio.  She is my 4th cousin 3x removed through the Sellerses.
