  1. Hi Janice, I hope it's ok that i'm posting this comment here but I wanted to ask you a question regarding Italian Citizenship.

    My great great grandfather immigrated to US (and then Canada) somewhere between 1890-1900.

    My main concern is that he immigrated from Trento which as you likely know was an Austro-Hungarian territory before it was annexed to Italy at the end of WW1.

    Given this complication, do you forsee this preventing me from acquiring citizenship in Italy?

    1. When you say that "he immigrated from Trento", that could mean only that Trento was his last residence before immigrating, so I need clarification. Send me a message at janicemsj@gmail.com and we can discuss your details.
