This is a banner day for my Gauntt relatives. Fully eleven of the seventeen events are from that family.
Rebecca Mack, daughter of Jacob Mack and Hannah Englehart, was born April 10, 1762, probably in Pennsylvania. She is my 2nd cousin 6x removed.
Abner H. Gaunt, son of Hananiah Selah Gaunt and Abigail Atkinson, was born April 10, 1833 in New Jersey, probably in Burlington County. He is my 2nd-great-granduncle.
Hannah W. Gaunt, daughter of Selah Benjamin Gaunt and Mary Elizabeth Sever, was born April 1872 in Southampton, Burlington County, New Jersey. She is my 2nd cousin 2x removed.
Henry H. Gaunt, son of Hananiah Selah Gaunt and Margaret S. Scott, was born April 10, 1874 in New Jersey, probably in Burlington County. He is my 1st cousin 3x removed.
Grover Cleveland Johnson, son of Robert Montgomery Johnson and Catherine Clark Henderson, was born April 10, 1885 in Hainesport, Burlington County, New Jersey. He is my 2nd cousin 3x removed on my Fox line through the Johnsons.
Sherman Kirkland Flynn, son of Roscoe Sherman Flynn and Edna May Gauntt, was born April 10, 1924 in Burlington County, New Jersey, possibly in Marlton. He is my 1st cousin once removed via the Gauntts.
Agnes Lucille Fry was also born April 10, 1924 in Dunkirk, Jay County, Indiana. She was married to Lee Gaunt, son of Walter Clayton Gaunt and Lulu May Sherman, who is my 5th cousin once removed.
Larry James Hagan was born April 10, 1954, probably in Canada. He is married to Carol Roberta Rudin, daughter of Raymond Harold Rubin and Ruth Garfinkel, who is my 4th cousin on my Meckler line through the Garfinkels.
Clinton Eugene Gaunt was born April 10, 1971, probably in Indiana. He is my 6th cousin once removed.
Gordon Ardel Redtfeldt and Lucille J. Vaughn, daughter of John E. Vaughn and Bertha Florence Gaunt, were married on April 10, 1943 in Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho. Lucille is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.
Richard Bruce Sellers, son of George Moore Sellers and Bertha Poinsett Eckman, and Virginia Ann Bennett were married on April 10, 1962 in Clementon, Camden County, New Jersey. Richard is my 1st cousin once removed.
Joseph Gaunt, son of Joseph Gaunt and Elizabeth Borton, died April 10, 1823 at the age of 53 in Pennsylvania. He is my 4th-great-granduncle.
John Gantt (originally Gaunt), son of Joseph Gaunt and Mary A. Lobaugh, died April 10, 1857 at the age of 62, probably in Perry County, Pennsylvania. He is my 1st cousin 5x removed.
Abraham Martin Gaunt, son of Selah Benjamin Gaunt and Mary E. Sever, died April 10, 1875 at the age of 1 in New Jersey, probably in Burlingotn County. He is my 2nd cousin 2x removed.
Joseph Bowker, son of John Bowker and Louisa J. Armstrong, died April 10, 1887 at the age of about 33 in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey. He is my 1st cousin 4x removed via the Armstrongs.
Clinton Millingar Bidwell died April 10, 1917 at the age of 58 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York. He was married to Agnes Sellers, daughter of David Wampole Sellers and Anna Frances Jaquett, who is my 4th cousin 3x removed.
James Michael Leman died April 10, 1974. He was married to Grace Yates, daughter of Charles Yates and Grace Allen, who is my 5th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Allens.
Genealogy is like a jigsaw puzzle, but you don't have the box top, so you don't know what the picture is supposed to look like.
