Events in My Family Tree: September 4

Harvey was my mother's favorite cousin.  She always said wonderful things about him.  I'm so glad I was able to meet him before he passed away.

Births

Joseph Thackeray, son of James Thackery and Jane Gaunt, was born September 4, 1800 in New Jersey.  He is my 2nd cousin 5x removed via the Gaunts.

Celestine Hutson, daughter of Thomas Hutson and Ruth Thackeray, was born September 4, 1854 in Ripley County, Indiana, on her grandfather Joseph's 54th birthday.  She is my 4th cousin 3x removed on my Gauntt line via the Thackerays.

Mary E. Gaynor, daughter of John Francis Gaynor and Wally Mary Ruppert, was born September 4, 1907 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.  She is the half-grandaunt of my half-sister Laura Sellers.

James Michael Leman was born September 4, 1942 in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.  He was the husband of Grace Yates, daughter of Charles Yates and Grace Allen, who is my 5th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line via the Allens.

Mark John Allen, son of Clarence Allen, Jr. and Grace Stagnato, was born September 4, 1951.  He is my 5th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Allens.

Paul M. Wickham, son of Charles Wickham and Sarah Temple, was born September 4, 1958.  He is the 3rd cousin of my half-sister Laura Sellers.

Kathleen Wickham was born September 4, 1962.  She is also the 3rd cousin of my half-sister Laura Sellers and the 1st cousin of Paul Wickham.

Carlton Stafford Gauntt was born September 4, 1964.  He is my 2nd cousin.

Marriage

Bobby Feller and Bernice Lieff, daughter of Sam Lieff and Libby Kardish, were married September 4, 1966, probably in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  Libby is my 2nd cousin once removed on my Gorodetsky line through the Kardishes.

Deaths

Abram Gorodetsky, son of Aron Gorodetsky and Gitel, died September 4, 1908 (Julian calendar) in Beltsy, Bessarabia, Russian Empire at the age of 15 months.  He is probably my 1st cousin 3x removed on my Gorodetsky line.

Katherine Housell Space died September 4, 1983 in Lisbon, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of 90.  She was the wife of John Murdock Allen, son of Cyrus Kunze Allen, Jr. and Clara Barton Shinn, who is my 4th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Allens.

Walter Garland Dodge died September 4, 1998 in Cottonwood, Yavapai County, Arizona at the age of 84.  He was the husband of Lois Elisabeth Higgins, daughter of Ervie Oscar Higgins and Elizabeth Opal Gaunt, who is my 5th cousin once removed via the Gaunts.

Harvey Zabinsky, son of Daniel Zabinsky and Beatrice Furman, died September 4, 2010, possibly in Lake County, Illinois, at the age of 60.  He is my 1st cousin once removed on my Meckler line via the Furmans.
