And for Finley Gage's 8th birthday, he got . . . a sister!

Births

Benjamin Franklin Gaunt, son of Benjamin Franklin Gaunt and Elizabeth K. Frazer, was born August 31, 1861 in New Jersey, probably in Burlington County.  He is my 2nd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

Finley Torrence Gage, son of James W. Gage and Mary Rosella Hutson, was born August 31, 1877 in Indiana, possibly in Ripley County.  He is my 5th cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line via the Hutsons.

Opal Edna Gage, daughter of James W. Gage and Mary Rosella Hutson, was born August 31, 1885 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.  She is also my 5th cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line via the Hutsons and is the sister of Finley Gage (above).

Edith Alice Gantt, daughter of Daniel Taylor Gantt and Phoebe Thomas, was born August 31, 1888 in Jefferson County, Nebraska.  She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gantts.

Ethyl Mary Gauntt, daughter of Isaiah Allen Gaunt and Louisa Lemonyon, was born August 31, 1889 in New Jersey.  She is my half 1st cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

Loyd Ault, son of Levi Calvin Ault and Hazel Pearl Gaunt, was born August 31, 1912 in Pennville, Jay County, Indiana.  He is my 5th couxin once removed via the Gaunts.

William Alvin Gaunt, Jr., son of William Alvin Gaunt and Mamie B. Mitchell, was born August 31, 1920 in Kings County, California.  He is my 4th couxin 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Paul Brainin, son of David Harry Brainin and Rebecca Harbour, was born August 31, 1931 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.  He is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my Brainin line.

Carol Anne Young, daughter of Walter Thomas Young, Jr. and Gladys Ella Easlick, was born August 31, 1939 in Mount Holly, Burlington County, New Jersey.  She is my 4th couxin once removed on my Gauntt line via the Easlicks.

Samuel Eli Thomas, Jr., son of Samuel Eli Thomas and Esther Jane Ellis, was born August 31, 1946 in New Jersey, possibly in Camden County.  He is my 2nd cousin on my Gauntt line via the Ellises.

Pamela Wickham, daughter of Robert Edward Wickham and Patricia Hehir, was born August 31, 1954, probably in New Jersey.  She is the 3rd cousin of my half-sister Laura Sellers

Ariel Tennenhouse was born August 31, 1997.  She is my 4th cousin once removed.

Benjamin M. Cerone was born August 31, 1998.  He is the 3rd cousin once removed of my half-sister Laura Sellers.

Marriages

Daniel Leon Easlick, son of Allen Severs Easlick and Mary E. Shemeley, and Ella Ritchie Mingen were married August 31, 1912 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvasnia.  Daniel is my 3rd cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Easlicks.

William Richardson Chase, son of Alfred Joseph Chase and Emma Naylor, and Beatrice Bertha Vogel were married August 31, 1940 in Burlington County, New Jersey.  William is my 3rd cousin once removed on my Gauntt line via the Naylors.

Burman J. Gaunt, son of Orlan Fay Gaunt and Ruth Irene Waybright, and Gretchen K. C. Hopman were married August 31, 1940 also, but in Kentucky.  Burman is my 5th cousin once removed via the Gaunts.

David Leven and Esther Garfinkel, daughter of Eliezer Louis Garfinkel and Doba Ajzner, were married August 31, 1947 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  Esther is my 2nd cousin 2x removed on my Meckler line via the Ajzners and my 3rd cousin once removed on my Meckler line through the Garfinkels.

Richard Charles Wright and Deborah Clark, daughter of Charles Robert Clark and Dorthea Virginia Lynch, were married August 31, 1974 in La Fontaine, Wabash County, Indiana.  Deborah is my 5th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Clarks.

Kenneth Spencer Perlman and Anastasia Maureen Figueroa were married August 31, 1996.  Kenneth is my 3rd cousin.

Death

Melville Everett Vaughn, son of John E. Vaughn and Bertha Florence Gaunt, died August 31, 1985 in Santa Barbara County, California at the age of 72.  He is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.
