One of the great things about doing these lists is that it encourages me to look up missing information.  I have discovered that a lot of Indiana birth, marriage, and death records are now availabl eonline, which has added numerous details to the facts I have for my many Gaunt cousins.

Births

Elizabeth Holsinger, daughter of John Holsinger and Elizabeth Mack, was born March 10, 1816 in Pennsylvania, possibly in Bedford County.  She is my 2nd cousin 5x removed via the Macks.

David Camp Sellers, son of Solomon Sellers and Christiana Camp, was born March 10, 1832 in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.  He is my 3rd cousin 4x removed.

Katherine Ann Gaunt, daughter of Donald E. Gaunt and Altha M. Harvey, was born March 10, 1930 in Los Angeles County, California.  She is my 5th cousin once removed.

Thomas Edward Gauntt, son of William Bounds Gauntt and Rebecca Zulker, was also born March 10, 1930, but in New Jersey.  He is my 4th cousin once removed.

Selma Ruth Tennenhouse, daughter of Arnold Tennenhouse and Faye Garfinkel, was born March 10, 1951 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  She is my 4th cousin on my Meckler line through the Garfinkels.

Lori Stevens was born March 10, 1975.  She is my 5th cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line.

Erica Lyat Bregman was born March 10, 1977 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  She is my 3rd cousin on my Gorodetsky line.

Tania Rose Russell was born March 10, 1993, I think in Florida.  She is my 4th cousin 2x removed on my Nowicki line.

Marriages

Joseph Harley Gaunt, son of David Clinton Gaunt and Martha Sophronia Hartman, and Settie Inez Horn were married on March 10, 1906 in Jay County, Indiana.  Joseph is my 4th cousin 2x removed.

Hyman and Anna Gordon

Hyman Gordon, son of Victor Gordon and Esther Leah Schneiderman, and Anna Schwartz were married on March 10, 1923 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  Hymie is my maternal great-granduncle.

Ronald Alvin Lucas and Gloria Jean Alcott were married on March 10, 1962 in Mount Holly, Burlington County, New Jersey.  Ronald is the 1st cousin once removed of my 1st cousin Albert Lore.

Todd Alan Meckler and Melissa Sue Burkett were marrked on March 10, 2017 in Virginia City, Nevada.  Todd is my 1st cousin.

Deaths

Amanda Rittenhouse, daughter of Peter Rittenhouse and Sarah Fox, died March 10, 1899 at the age of about 71 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  She is my 1st cousin 5x removed via the Foxes.

Lulu May Sherman died March 10, 1932 at the age of 49 in Portland, Jay County, Indiana.  She was married to Walter Clayton Gaunt, son of Arthur Lee Gaunt and Rachel Lavinia Stutsman, who is my 4th cousin 2x removed.

Max Stewart died March 10, 1992 at the age of 82 in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada.  He was the second husband of Florence Meckler, daughter of Morris Meckler and Minnie Zelda Nowicki, who is my maternal grandaunt.

February 25 can't be a great day for my cousin Jeff and his family, as both his father and grandmother died on this day.

Alfred T. Githens, son of Thomas Githens and Mary Gaunt, was born February 25, 1819 in New Jersey.  He is my 2nd cousin 4x removed via the Gaunts.

Catharine Holsinger, daughter of David Holsinger and Lydia Mack, was born February 25, 1825, probably in Franklin County, Pennsylvania.  She is my 2nd cousin 5x removed via the Macks.

Daniel Taylor Gantt, son of John Gantt and Rachel Carl, was born February 25, 1848, probably in Perry County, Pennsylvania.  He is my 2nd cousin 4x removed.

Edwin Foote Sellers, son of Edwin Elias Sellers and Olive Lay Foote, was born February 25, 1871 in Austin, Travis County, Texas.4th cousin 3x removed.

Victor N. Sellers, son of William Sellers and Marie B., was born February 25, 1893 in Allen County, Ohio.  He is my 5th cousin 2x removed.

Stacy Buzby Armstrong, Jr., son of Stacy Buzby Armstrong and Lydia S. Haines, was born February 25, 1903 in Rancocas, Burlington County, New Jersey.  He is my 1st cousin 2x removed.

Wilma Norris was born February 25, 1913.  She was married to Neil Gaunt Clark, son of Oren Wilson Clark and Anna Gaunt, who is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Jessie Naomi Gaunt, daughter of William Alvin Gaunt and Mamie B. Mitchell, was born February 25, 1917, probably in Kings County, California.  She is my 4th cousin 2x removed.

Alfred S. Dranove was born February 25, 1919.  He was married to Dorothy A. Pollack, daughter of Isaac Pollack and Bessie Brainin, who is my 1st cousin 2x removed via the Brainins.

Martha Ann Surran, daughter of William Earl Surran and Martha Ann Naylor, was born February 25, 1926 in Williamstown, Gloucester County, New Jersey.  She is my 3rd cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Naylors.

Teresa Jo Bonifas, daughter of Joseph W. Bonifas and Delores Gilbert, was born February 25, 1953.  She is my 6th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Bonifases.

Melvin Edward Judd was also born February 25, 1953, in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.  He is married to Sandra Lee Dunn, who is my 2nd cousin on my Gauntt line.

David Allen Meyers, Jr. was born February 25, 1973.  He is my 5th cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line.

Jordanna Gilah Bregman was born February 25, 1986 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  She is my 3rd cousin on my Gorodetsky line.

Deaths

Mary Ann Fox, daughter of John Fox and Catherine Fisher, died February 25, 1896 at the age of 85 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  She is my 3rd-great-grandaunt.

Bernard Garfinkel, son of Eliezer Louis Garfinkel and Doba Ajzner, died February 25, 1935 at the age of 4 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  He is my 2nd cousin 2x removed on my Meckler line through the Garfinkels.

Victor Gordon, son of Morris Gordon and Rose Sopher, died February 25, 1997 at the age of 60 in New York.  He is my 1st cousin 2x removed.

Sadie Elizabeth Clark died February 25, 2004 at the age of 88 iin Redding, Shasta County, California.  She is the maternal grandmother of my 2nd cousin once removed Jeff Gordon (whose father is Victor Gordon, above).

Richard Bruce Sellers, Sr., son of George Moore Sellers and Bertha Poinsett Eckman, died February 25, 2011.  He is my 1st cousin once removed.

February 9 is a pretty busy day in my family tree.  It's sad to have two very young deaths on the list, however.

Samuel Thackara, son of James Thackara (originally Thackery) and Jane Gaunt, was born February 9, 1794.  He is my 2nd cousin 5x removed via the Gaunts.

John Vaughn was born about February 9, 1888.  He was married to Bertha Florence Gaunt, daughter of James Knox Polk Gaunt and Sarah Naomi Boone, who is my 3rd cousin 3x removed.

Nellie M. Gaunt, daughter of John Gaunt, Jr. and Mary M. Walter, was born February 9, 1895 in Gloucester City, Camden County, New Jersey.  She is my 4th cousin 2x removed.

Jacob Persoff was born February 9, 1912 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.  He was married to Frieda Schneiderman, daughter of Sam Schneiderman and Annie Rachel Petranovsky, who is my 1st cousin 3x removed.

Victor Lederman, son of Gabriel William Lederman and Anna Gordon, was born February 9, 1926 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  He is my 1st cousin 2x removed.

Jeanne Helen Eckert, daughter of Roy Howard Eckert and Mary Elma Easlick, was born February 9, 1952 in Mount Holly, Burlington County, New Jersey.  She is my 4th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Easlicks.

Roger Michael Farrier was born February 9, 1955 in San Fernando, Trinidad, Trinidad and Tobago.  He is the father of my sister-in-law, Sandra Farrier.  I know there's a word for that specific relationship in Yiddish, but I don't know what it is.

Nora Walsh was born February 9, 1961 in Brooklyn, Kngs County, New York.  She is my 4th cousin on my Nowicki line.

Erik Johnston was born February 9, 1970.  He is the 2nd cousin once removed of my 1st cousin Albert Lore.

Bram David Bregman was born February 9, 1981 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  He is my 3rd cousin on my Gorodetsky line.

Marriages

Evans or Samuel Ford and Emily Gaunt, daughter of Reuben Lewallen Gaunt and Jane Weatherby, were married on February 9, 1864.  Emily is my 2nd cousin 3x removed.

William Mock, son of Alexander Mock and Catherine Hively, and Susan Kling were married on February 9, 1875 in Richland County, Ohio.  Alexander is my 4th cousin 4x removed.

Harry Herman Mackler (originally Meckler), son of Moshe Meckler and Minnie Zelda Nowicki, and Ida Bogus were married on February 9, 1931 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.  Harry is my maternal granduncle.

Deaths

Daniel Gaunt, son of Daniel Gaunt and Mary Githens, died February 9, 1810 at the age of 6 months, probably in New Jersey.  He is my 2nd cousin 5x removed.

Charles Jaquett Sellers, son of David Wampole Sellers and Anna Frances Jaquett, died February 9, 1868 at the age of 11 months in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  He is my 4th cousin 3x removed.

Henry Snyder died February 9, 1890 at the age of about 50 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.  He was married to Clara A. Fox, daughter of Samuel Lynd Fox and Catherine Stoyer/Schrower, who is my 1st cousin 4x removed.

Dora Yelsky, daughter of Ruven Yelsky and Frieda, died February 9, 1936 at the age of about 78 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  She is my maternal great-great-grandmother.

Mabel Helen Gauntt, daughter of Joseph L. Gauntt and Rebecca Elizabeth Coverly, died February 9, 1979 at the age of 74, possibly in Gloucester County, New Jersey.  She is my 4th cousin once removed.
