Cynthia C. Blevins was born December 16, 1963 in Shasta County, California.  She was married to Lawrence Matthew Gordon, son of Victor Gordon and Betty Lorraine Ellett, who is my 2nd cousin 1x removed on my Gordon line.

Paul B. Lavin, Jr., son of Paul B. Lavin and Mary E. Murray, was also born December 16, 1963, but in Montclair, Essex County, New Jersey.  He is the half 2nd cousin of my half-sister Laurie Sellers and her half-sister Shanyn James.

Jay Alan Grobler was born December 16, 1967.  He is my 4th cousin.

Lisa Allen was born December 16, 1969.  She is my 5th cousin 2x removed.

William David Brainin, son of Benjamin Brainin and Yetta Braunstein, and Beatrice Horowitz were married December 16, 1945 in Bronx, Bronx County, New York.  William is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my Brainin line.

Deaths

Bessie May Gaunt, daughter of James Knox Polk Gaunt and Sarah Naomi Boone, died December 16, 1878 in Indiana at the age of 2.  She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

Elizabeth G. Miller died December 16, 1912 in Lawrence County, Tennessee at the age of 70.  She was the wife of Ner Gaunt, son of Ner Gaunt and Agnes Corwin, who is my 2nd cousin 4x removed via the Gaunts.

Martha Freedman died December 16, 1987 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at the age of 80.  She was married to Jack Garfinkel, son of Yikusee'ael Koifman Gorfinkel and Sora Rivka Mekler, who is my 2nd cousin 2x removed via the Meklers.

Don Leo McStroul, son of Eugene Washington McStroul and Elizabeth Almira Heath, was born December 2, 1942.  He is the brother of my aunt Mary McStroul and the uncle of my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.

Elizabeth Lavin was born December 2, 1966.  She is the half 2nd cousin of my half-sister Laurie Sellers.

Christopher Patrick Lore was born December 2, 1975.  He is my half 1st cousin 1x removed.

Henry Heath, son of George Heath and Philadelphia Lucas, died December 2, 1875 in Thurman, Warren County, New York at the age of 59.  He is the 2x-great-grandfather of my aunt Mary McStroul and the 3x-great-grandfather of my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.

David Clinton Gaunt, son of Jacob Gaunt and Melvina F. Bennett, died December 2, 1920 in Dunkirk, Jay County, Indiana. at the age of 64.  He is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

Mozell Crawford, daughter of Henry Crawford, Jr. and Channy Mariah King, died December 2, 1977 in Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia at the age of about 68.  She is the 1st cousin 2x removed of my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams on her Crawford line.

Shirley June Gaunt, daughter of Walter Everett Gaunt and Norma Marguerite Prusso, died December 2, 1980 in Alameda County, California at the age of 55.  She is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Eugene Washington McStroul, son of Leo Martin McStroul (originally Moshe Leib Strul) and Anna Krebs, died August 23, 1964 in Tucsom, Pima County, Arizona at the age of 54.  He is the father of my aunt Mary McStroul and the grandfather of my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.

Sidney Garfinkel, son of Eliezer Louis Garfinkel and Doba Ajzner, died August 23, 1997 in Monsey, Rockland County, New York at the age of 70.  He is my 2nd cousin 2x removed on my Meckler line through the Garfinkels.

Deaths

Abraham Bogus died June 21, 1922 in Manhattan, New York County, New York at the age of about 42.  He was the father of Ida Bogus, who was married to Harry Herman Meckler, who was my maternal grandfather's brother and my granduncle.  Ida is supposed to have been a cousin of Jan Peerce, which could explain why Peerce sang at my maternal grandparents' wedding, and I'm still working on making that connection.

Hazel Pauline Gauntt, daughter of Henry H. Gaunt and Sarah Allison, died June 21, 1968 in Alexandria City, Virginia at the age of 64.  She is my 2nd cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line.
