Wedding Wednesday

As I have been working my way through the scanned photo bonanza I received from my sister a year and a half ago (how time flies!), I have found some lovely family gems that I was not expecting.  Among them were these beautiful wedding photos for one of my cousins, with full identifications on the backs!

As documented in the informative notes on the backs of the photos (thank you to whichever incredibly intelligent person did this!), this is the wedding of Andrea Michelle Ellis (daughter of Daniel Ellis and Patti Montgomery) and Ronald J. Bean, which was celebrated on May 27, 1999 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Not all the relationships are stated in the notes.  Albert and Imogene Ellis are the parents of Daniel, Randy, and Michael.  Daniel and Patti are the parents of Bill and Andrea.  Patti's parents (Andrea's maternal grandparents) are Bill and Betty Montgomery.  Elise is Randy's wife.  And I have to admit I don't know where Elizabeth fits in.  Maybe she is on the Bean side.

The beautiful bride, Andrea Ellis, is my 2nd cousin 1x removed through the Ellises, to whom I am related on my paternal grandmother's side, the Gauntts.  Of all the people in the photos, I knew Albert and Imogene, and I think I may have met Michael once (I know I've talked to him on the phone).  But they're all my relatives, and I am happy to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Ronald and Andrea's wedding (which actually was yesterday, but only one day off when following a blog meme is pretty good).

David Charles Ellis, son of Harold Levi Ellis and Josephine Fiori, was born December 29, 1950 in New Jersey, possibly in Burlington County.  He is my 2nd cousin on my Gauntt line through the Ellises.

Francis Wickham, son of Raymond Henry Wickham and Janice Kasabula, was born December 29, 1957, possibly in New York.  He is the 3rd cousin of my half-sister Laurie Sellers and her half-sister Shanyn James on their Bowen line through the Wickhams.

Julianna Copestick was born December 29, 2014.  She is my 2nd cousin 2x removed.

David Gantt, son of Joseph Gantt and Mary A. Lobaugh, was born October 31, 1799 in Pennsylvania, probably in Perry County.  He is my 1st cousin 5x removed via the Gantts.

Almira T. Githens, daughter of Alfred T. GIthens and Margaret Middleton, was born October 31, 1862 in New Jersey, probably in Gloucester County.  She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed on my Gauntt line through the Githenses.

Emma T. Tonkin, daughter of George C. Tonkin and Mary B. Gaunt, was born October 31, 1884 in Gloucester County, New Jersey.  She is my 5th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Mary Louise Gauntt, daughter of Thomas Kirkland Gauntt and Jane Dunstan, was born October 31, 1899 in Mount Laurel, Burlington County, New Jersey.  She is my grandaunt.

Jerald Lee Brainin, son of Samuel Michael Brainin and Blanche Mildred Sax, was born October 31, 1947 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.  He is my 2nd cousin 1x removed on my Brainin line.

Tracy Allen Cunningham was born October 31, 1960 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.  He is the husband of Sandra Lee Dunn, daughter of Harold Edwin Dunn, Jr. and Ruth Clara Ellis, who is my 2nd cousin on my Gauntt line via the Ellises.

Yizhak Zvi Kamil was born October 31, 1995.  He is my 3rd cousin.

Javier Moreno was also born October 31, 1995.  He is my 4th cousin 2x removed.

Paul Bresge and Rosanne Baker were married October 31, 1991.  Rosanne is my 3rd cousin 1x removed.

Deaths

Benjamin Selah Gaunt, son of Hananiah Selah Gaunt and Mary Elizabeth Rose, died October 31, 1901 in Vincentown, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of 79.  He is my half great-great-granduncle.

James Kirkland Gauntt, son of Thomas Kirkland Gauntt and Jane Dunstan, died October 31, 1949 in Fern Park, Seminole County, Florida at the age of 44.  He is my granduncle.

Carrie Bell Crawford, daughter of Henry Crawford and America Brooks, died October 31, 1979 in Muscogee County, Georgia at the age of 77.  She is the great-grandaunt of my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.
