I was fortunate to have met Mort Perlman before he suddenly passed away.  He was a very nice person and shared a lot of information about my family.

Clifford William Hanner, Sr. was born December 7, 1894 in Illinois.  He was the husband of Sarah Alice Gaunt, daughter of William Alvin Gaunt and Leota Pearl McGinnis, who is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Lois Elaine McStroul, daughter of Fred Lincoln McStroul and Belle Silberman, was born December 7, 1938 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.  She is the 1st cousin of my aunt Mary McStroul and her sister Anna McStroul, and the 1st cousin 1x removed on my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.

Shirley Mae Mantell, daughter of Harold Yorkes Mantell and Gladys Mabel Allen, was born December 7, 1941 in New Jersey, probably in Burlington County.  She is my 5th cousin 1x removed on my Gauntt line through the Allens.

Gordon Owen Carnie was born December 7, 1951 in San Diego County, California.  He is the husband of Janet E. Brainin, daughter of Samuel Michael Brainin and Blanche Mildred Sax, who is my 2nd cousin 1x removed on my Brainin line.

Lora Pauline Yandell, daughter of Arnold Lorn Yandell and Myrtle Augusta Higgins, was born December 7, 1952 in Yuba County, California.  She is my 6th cousin on my Gauntt line through the Higginses.

Timothy Reilly, son of Edward Reilly and Eileen Gaynor, was born December 7, 1961.  He is the half 2nd cousin 1x removed of my half-sister Laurie Sellers on her Gaynor line.

Erin Denice Robertson was born December 7, 1984.  She is my 6th cousin.

Andrew Cerone was born December 7, 1992.  He is the 2nd cousin 2x removed of my half-sister Laurie Sellers.

David Maxwell Rudin was born December 7, 1994.  He is my 4th cousin 1x removed.

Marriages

Uz Millard Votaw, son of Millard F. Votaw and Ida May Fisher, and Ruth E. Barnett were married December 7, 1912 in Wabash County, Indiana.  Uz is my 4th cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line through the Votaws.

Clarence Gilbert Lore, son of Clarence Newcomb Lore and Dorothy Mae Sellers, and Pamela Jean Knox were married December 7, 1989 in Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware.  Gil is my half 1st cousin on my Sellers line.

Deaths

James Knox Polk Gaunt, son of Uz Gaunt and Sarah Ann Whitacre, died December 7, 1933 in Hanford, Kings County, California at the age of 83.  He is my 2nd cousin 4x removed via the Gaunts.

Watson Edward Thomson died December 7, 1966 in Lewis County, Washington at the age of 78.  He was married to Lillie L. Fuller, daughter of Joseph L. Fuller and Sarah R. Weaver, who is the grandaunt of my aunt Mary McStroul and her sister Anna McStroul, and the great-grandaunt of my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.

Pearl E. Cory died December 7, 1974 in Sonoma County, California at the age of 92.  She was the wife of Charles Gaunt, son of Lewis Cass Gaunt and Mary A. Kindlesparger, who is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

Morton Eli Perlman, son of Louis Perlman (originally Leizer Perlmutter) and Jennie Novitsky (originally Zlate Nowicki), died December 7, 1999 in Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, Florida at the age of 79.  He is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my Nowicki line.

Sarah Naomi Boone was born May 29, 1855 in Indiana, probably in Franklin or Wabash County.  She was married to James Knox Polk Gaunt, son of Uz Gaunt and Sarah Ann Whitacre, who is my 2nd cousin 4x removed.

Benjamin Harold Deacon, Jr., son of Benjamin Harold Deacon and Sarah, was born May 29, 1926 in Pennsylvania, possibly in Philadelphia.  He is my 3rd cousin 2x removed on my Fox line through the Deacons.

Mildred Marian Gauntt, daughter of Mark Lewallen Gauntt and May Ethyl Lake, was born May 29, 1927 in Moorestown, Burlington County, New Jersey.  She is my 4th cousin once removed.

Dale Edward Travis was born May 29, 1962 in West Virginia.  He is my 2nd cousin on my Gauntt line.

David R. Blum was born May 29, 1963 in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California.  He is the 2nd cousin once removed of my cousin Esther Garfinkel.

Mary Erin Reilly was born May 29, 1967, possibly in New Jersey.  She is the 1st cousin once removed of my half-sister Laurie Sellers.

Caroline Jill Horn was born May 29, 1970.  She is the 2nd cousin of my half-sister Laurie Sellers.

Jessica Yao-lan Persoff was born May 29, 1982 in Berkeley, Alameda County, California.  She is my 3rd cousin once removed on my Schneiderman line.

Marriages

Samuel Sellers, son of David Sellers and Sarah Ruth, and Barbara Ann Wampole were married on May 29, 1832 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  Samuel is my 2nd cousin 5x removed.

Daniel Sellers, son of Joseph Sellers and Leah Crumrine, and Louise Beeler were married on May 29, 1879 in Auglaize County, Ohio.  David is my 4th cousin 3x removed.

Willet Ford and Edwina Sellers, daughter of John Wengard Sellers and Mary Malissa Conkle, were married on May 29, 1881 in Allen County, Ohio.  Edwina is also my 4th cousin 3x removed.

Logan Thackeray, son of Selector Thackeray and Louisa Moodey, and Virginia Steele were married on May 29, 1910 in Cameron, Clinton County, Missouri.  Logan is another 4th cousin 3x removed, but on my Gauntt line through the Thackerays.

Claude John Gauntt, son of Robert Elwood Gauntt and Elsie May West, and Mary Lou Damico were married on May 29, 1965, possibly in New Jersey.  Claude is my 4th cousin once removed.

Deaths

Elizabeth Mack, daughter of Alexander Mack and Elizabeth Neis, died May 29, 1770 at the age of 7, probably in Germantown, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  She is my 5th-great-grandaunt.

Anna Margarethe Mack, daughter of Alexander Mack and Elizabeth Neis, died May 29, 1838 at the age of 72, probably in Germantown, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  She is my 5x-great-grandmother and died on the same calendar day as her older sister Elizabeth (above).

Louisa J. Armstrong, daughter of Joel Armstrong and Catherine Stackhouse, died May 29, 1881 at the age of about 48 in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey.  She is my 3rd-great-grandaunt.

Lilliam May Easlick, daughter of Jonathan Easlick and Susannah Sever, died May 29, 1908 at the age of 34, possibly in New Jersey.  She is my 2nd cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line through the Easlicks.

Edwin Bunting Eckman, son of John Eckman and Martha Johnson Atkinson, died May 29, 1954 at the age of 41 in Mount Holly, Burlington County, New Jersey.  He was married to Catherine Marie Sellers, daughter of Cornelius Elmer Sellers and Laura May Armstrong, who is my paternal grandaunt.

Jane Gaunt, daughter of Daniel Gaunt and Mary Githens, was born January 16, 1805, probably in New Jersey.  She is my 2nd cousin 5x removed.

Catherine Shellenberger was born January 16, 1856, possibly in Pennsylvania.  She was married to Irwin Alexander Sellers, son of Alexander Sellers and Lavinia Coppelberger, who is my 3rd cousin 3x removed.

Horace Samuel Eckman, son of John Eckman and Martha Johnson Atkinson, was born January 16, 1929 in Columbus, Burlington County, New Jersey.  He is the brother of my grandaunt Bertha Poinsett Eckman and granduncle Edwin Bunting Eckman.

Glen Amron

Glen Amron, son of Eli Morton Amron and Alice "Honey" Gold, was born January 16, 1949 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  He is my 4th cousin.

Renee Millstein, daughter of Irwin Millstein and Julia Baena, was born January 16, 1951 in Connecticut.  She is my 2nd cousin once removed.

Harry William Hudson, Jr., son of Harry William Hudson, Sr. and Jean Wargo, was born January 16, 1958.  He is my 5th cousin throgh my Gauntt line.

Christopher Paul Reilly was born January 16, 1964.  He is the 1st cousin once removed of my half-sister Laurie Sellers.

Louis Jonathan Kardash was born January 16, 1983 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  He is my 3rd cousin via the Gorodetskys.

Yesterday I had no deaths, but today I have no weddings.  I wonder if the lack of weddings is in any related to it being the 13th?  Maybe I had superstitious relatives?  I'll have to wait and see what results I get in the succeeding months.

Anna Krebs, daughter of Isaac Krebs and Frederika Weiss, died January 13, 1962 at about the age of 75 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.  She is the paternal grandmother of my aunt Mary McStroul.

James Newbill Armstrong died January 13, 1986 at the age of 79 in Baltimore City, Maryland.  He was married to Beatrice Ruth Anna Swain, daughter of Thomas Daniel Swain and Rachel Anna Armstrong, who is my 1st cousin 2x removed.

Charles Jacob Gaunt, son of Arthur Lee Gaunt and Rachel Lavinia Stutsman, died January 13, 1998 at the age of 69, possibly in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.  He is my 4th cousin 2x removed.
