Oscar Moodey Thackeray, son of Francis Marion Thackeray and Emma Sophia Bosch, was born November 23, 1908 in Decatur County, Indiana.  He is my 5th cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line through the Thackerays.

Barbara Ann Ellis, daughter of Samuel Naglee Ellis and Eleanor Jenee Thomas, was born November 23, 1940 in Burlington County, New Jersey.  She is my 2nd cousin on my Gauntt line through the Ellises.

Deaths

Lulu L. Sample, daughter of George W. Sample and Hannah Gaunt, died November 23, 1911, possibly in Indiana, at the age of 28.  She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

David Stein died November 23, 1991, probably in Nebraska, at the age of 74.  He was the second husband of Ruth Schumeister, daughter of Henry Schumeister and Celia Perlmutter, who is my 3rd cousin 1x removed on my Nowicki line through the Perlmutters.

Simon Krebs died on what would have been the 75th birthday of his wife, Dorothea Schiffer.  I suppose in its own way it was fortunate that she had died twelve years earlier, so her birthday wasn't ruined for the rest of her life.

Dorothea/Dorel Schiffer, daughter of Daniel Schiffer/Schifferer and Henriette Mayer/Hollander, was born October 12, 1803 in Tarnowitz, Obersilesia, Prussia.  She is the great-great-grandmother of my aunt Mary McStroul and her sister Jean McStroul and the 3x-great-grandmother of my 1st cousin Todd Meckler, my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams, and Mindy McStroul.

Murray Harold Pollack, son of Isaac Pollack and Bessie Brainin, was born October 12, 1930 in the Bronx, Bronx County, New York.  He is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my Brainin line.

William Michael Gaunt, son of Reuben Lewallen Gaunt and Dorothy Selace, was born October 12, 1947 in New Jersey.  He is my 5th cousin via the Gaunts.

Catherine Mary Gwin was born October 12, 1954 in Ruslip-Northwood, Middlesex, England.  She is the wife of Francis Lynn Neborsky, son of Francis Neborsky and Mildred Alice Sellers, who is my half 1st cousin.

John Wickham, son of Robert Edward Wickham and Patricia Hehir, was born October 12, 1955 in New Jersey.  He is the 3rd cousin of my half-sister Laura Sellers on her Bowen line through the Wickhams.

Marc Wesley Mallow, son of David Wade Mallow and Mary Alice Gauntt, was born October 12, 1959 in New Jersey.  He is my 2nd cousin via the Gauntts.

Philip Stent and Emily Heath, daughter of George Heath and Martha Stuart, were married October 12, 1818 in Hambledon, Surrey, England.  Emily is the 3x-great-grandaunt of my aunt Mary McStroul and her sister Jean McStroul and the 4x-great-grandaunt of my 1st cousin Todd Meckler and my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.

Myles Allen, son of Clarence Allen, Jr. and Grace Stagnato, and Donna M. Whitesell were married October 12, 1986 in Ewing Township, Mercer County, New Jersey.  Myles is my 5h cousin 1x removed on my Gauntt line through the Allens.

Deaths

Selma Belle Lubin died October 12, 1999 in Holmes, Dutchess County, New York at the age of 72.  She was the wife of Sydney Brainin, son of Max Joseph Brainin and Nellie Doctor, who is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my Brainin line.

Norman C. Gauntt, son of George D. Gauntt and Leona Baker, was born September 7, 1915 in Burlington County, New Jersey.  He is my 2nd cousin once removed on my Gauntt line.

Ralph W. Thomson, son of Watson E. Thomson and Lillie L. Fuller, was born September 7, 1915 in New York, probably in Warren or Schenectady County.  He is the 2nd cousin once removed of my aunt Mary McStroul on her Fuller line.

Franklin T. Dunstan, son of Frederick Dunstan and Anna Waltz Horner, died September 7, 1900 in Tabernacle, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of 3.  He is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my Dunstan line.

John Gaunt, Jr., son of John Gaunt and Elizabeth Kirby, died September 7, 1911 in Gloucester County, New Jersey at the age of 83.  He is my 3rd cousin 4x removed via the Gaunts.

Hannah Gaunt, daughter of Uz Gaunt and Sarah Ann Whitacre, died September 7, 1945 in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma at the age of 90.  She is my 2nd cousin 4x removed via the Gaunts.

John Robert Eckman, Jr., son of John Robert Eckman and Mary Sousa, died September 7, 1974 in Cape May Court House, Cape May County, New Jersey at the age of 61.  He is the paternal uncle of my half 1st cousin Albert Lore.

Francis Neborsky died September 7, 1976 in Somers Point, Atlantic County, New Jersey.  He was the husband of Mildred Alice Sellers, daughter of Bertram Lynn Sellers and Elizabeth Leatherberry Sundermeier, who is my paternal half-aunt.

Howard Pearson Gaunt, son of Calvert Gaunt and Annette Pearson, was born July 15, 1914 in Wabash County, Indiana.  He is another of my 4th cousins 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Elaine Fensterwald was born July 15, 1929 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.  She was the wife of Julian Saul Perlman, son of Abraham Sam Perlman and Stella Joffe, who is my 3rd cousin once removed on my Nowicki line through the Perlmans.

Rolando Castro Gingras was born July 15, 1946 in Los Angeles County, California.  He was the husband of Beth Zelda Amine, daughter of Moshe Amine and Florence Meckler, who is my 1st cousin once removed on my Meckler line.
