I never noticed until today that Elmer and Laura were married on Elmer's birthday.  I wonder if that was done as a gesture to him because he was taking on the responsibility of helping her raise the 7-month-old son (my grandfather) she came to the marriage with.

Cornelius Elmer Sellers was born November 7, 1874 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  He was the adoptive father of my paternal grandfather and the first husband of Laura May Armstrong, daughter of Joel Armstrong and Sarah Ann Deacon Lippincott, who is my great-grandmother.

Lee Gaunt, son of Walter Clayton Gaunt and Lulu May Sherman, was born November 7, 1909 in Jay County, Indiana.  He is my 5th cousin 1x removed via the Gaunts.

Kathleen Anne Easlick, daughter of Vinton Thompson Easlick and Beulah Anna Elizabeth Bozarth, was born November 7, 1927 in New Jersey, probably in Mount Holly, Burlington County.  She is my 4th cousin on my Gauntt line through the Easlicks.

Mary Linden Smith was born November 7, 1949 in Northport, Suffolk County, New York.  She is the wife of William David Perlman, son of Morton Eli Perlman and Doris Bash, who is my 2nd cousin 1x removed on my Nowicki line through the Perlmans.

Elliott Howard Leven, son of David Leven and Esther Garfinkel, was born November 7, 1961 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  He is my 3rd cousin 1x removed on my Meckler line via the Garfinkels.

Stacey Ellen Bernstein was born November 7, 1964.  She is my 2nd cousin 1x removed.

Melanie Allen was born November 7, 1968.  She is my 5th cousin 1x removed.

Chase Clouser was born November 7, 1982.  He is my 3rd cousin.

Marriage

Cornelius Elmer Sellers and Laura May Armstrong, daughter of Joel Armstrong and Sarah Ann Deacon Lippincott, were married November 7, 1903 in Mount Holly, Burlington County, New Jersey.  And Laura is still my great-grandmother.

Death

Don Leo McStroul, son of Eugene Washington McStroul and Elizabeth Almira Heath, died November 7, 2002 in Portland, Multnonah County, Oregon.  He is the brother of my aunt Mary McStroul and her sister Jean McStroul and the maternal uncle of my 1st cousin Todd Meckler and my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.

Irwin Millstein, son of Nathan Millstein and Sarah Gordon (originally Gorodetsky), was born August 12, 1929 in Bronx, Bronx County, New York.  He is my 1st cousin 2x removed via the Gorodetskys.

Robert Reuben Gauntt, son of Reuben Lewallen Gauntt and Dorothy Selace, was born August 12, 1946, probably in New Jersey.  He is my 5th cousin on my Gauntt line.

Lory David McStroul, son of Fred Lincoln McStroul and Belle Silberman, was born August 12, 1953 in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, California.  He is the 1st cousin of my aunt Mary McStroul.

Wayne Lee Gaunt, son of William Richard Gaunt and Ina Mae Pflueger, was born August 12, 1954, possibly in Indiana.  He is my 6th cousin via the Gaunts.

Shachar Leven was born August 12, 1975.  She is my 4th cousin.

Astrid Erin O'Brien was born August 12, 1980.  She is my half 1st cousin.

Lauren Eileen Dunn was born August 12, 1997.  She is my 2nd cousin 2x removed.

Robert Hill and Maria Dunstan, daughter of James Dunstan and Maria Hilton, were married August 12, 1832 in Manchester, Lancashire, England.  Maria is my 3x-great-grandaunt.

Death

Everett Elwin Gaunt, son of Walter Everett Gaunt and Norma Marguerite Prusso, died August 12, 1982 in Newark, Alameda County, California at the age of 62.  He is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Robert Springfield and Helen Laverta Slentz, daughter of Andrew Earl Slentz and Bessie Florence Landis, were married August 10, 1920 in Wewoka, Seminole County, Oklahoma.  Helen is my 5th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Slentzes.

Viola V. Gaunt, daughter of Jacob Gaunt and Melvina F. Bennett, died August 10, 1855 in Jay County, Indiana at the age of 16 months.  She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

Joseph R. Gaunt, son of Jacob Gaunt and Melvina F. Bennett, died August 10, 1856 in Jay County, Indiana at the age of 16 months.  He is the brother of Viola Gaunt (above) and also my 3rd cousin 3x removed.

Louis Victor Gaunt, son of William Allen Gaunt and Mary Ann Parrott, died August 10, 1877, probably in Wabash County, Indiana, at the age of 8 months.  He is another 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

It's interesting when you notice what things happened on the same day.  Two of my cousins, on unrelated lines, were born the same day.  One cousin was getting married while another passed away the same day, both in Burlington County (and they're actually 2nd cousins once removed themselves).

Roy Birnboim, son of Menashe Birnboim and Sophie Garfinkel, was born July 12, 1937 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  He is my 3rd cousin once removed on my Meckler line through the Garfinkels.

James David Gauntt, son of Thomas Franklin Gauntt and Anna Marie Stayton, was born July 12, 1942 in New Jersey, probably in Burlington County.  He is my 1st cousin once removed on my Gauntt line.

Leonard Isaac Leven, son of David Leven and Esther Garfinkel, was born July 12, 1951 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  He is my 3rd cousin once removed on my Meckler line through the Garfinkels, just like Ray Birnboim (above).

James D. Wickham, Sr., son of Robert Edward Wickham and Patricia Hehir, was born July 12, 1958, probably in New Jersey.  He is the 3rd cousin of my half-sister Laura Sellers on her Bowen line through the Wickhams.

Twins Douglas Jay Cook and Theodore Ray Cook were born July 12, 1967.  They are my 5th cousins 2x removed.

Julia Claire Kushner was born July 12, 1983.  She is my 4th cousin once removed.

Thomas Franklin Gauntt, son of Thomas Kirkland Gauntt and Jane Dunstan, and Anna Marie Stayton were married July 12, 1935 in New Jersey, probably Burlington County.  Thomas is my granduncle, and his son James (above) was born on his seventh wedding anniversary.

Daniel Ryan Wright and Megan Elizabeth Ranck were married July 12, 2003.  Daniel is my 6th cousin.

Deaths

Harry Hobart Gauntt, son of Garrett H. Gauntt and Phyllis Sanderson, died July 12, 1935 near Stevens Station, Burlington County, New Jersey at the young age of 17.  He is my 3rd cousin once removed on my Gauntt line.

Mable Louise Wickery, daughter of Lewis C. Wickery and Dora Helen Gaunt, died July 12, 1980 in Orange County, California at the age of 60.  She is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.

Anita Clarice Loveman was born May 22, 1926 in Burlington County, New Jersey.  She was married to my paternal grandfather, Bertram Lynn Sellers, and is the mother of my aunt Carol Sellers.

Florence Manila Brooks died April 29, 1923 at the age of about 24 in Butte, Silver Bow County, Montana.  She was married to Claude Wesley Gaunt, son of William Allen Gaunt and Margaret E. Gillogly, who is my 4th cousin 2x removed.

Thomas B. Thackeray, son of Ezra Thackeray and Phoebe Cramer, died April 29, 1926 at the age of 83 in Fairfield, Franklin County, Indiana.  He is my 3rd cousin 4x removed on my Gauntt line through the Thackerays.

Bertha Florence Gaunt, daughter of James Knox Polk Gaunt and Sarah Naomi Boone, died April 29, 1968 at the age of 75 in Hanford, Kings County, California.  She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed.

Frank Eugene Gaunt, son of Rinaldo Wise Gaunt and Eulalia Marie Rice, died April 29, 1978 at the age of 51 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.  He is my 6th cousin.

Even though the 15th is the Ides of March, I didn't find any violent deaths in my family tree, which is a good thing.  I did, however, find more twins, two sets for this day.
