Irving Lawrence Gershwind was born Octtober 8, 1911 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.  He was the husband of Frances Perlman, daughter of Louis Perlman (originally Perlmutter) and Jennie Novitsky, who is my 1st cousin 2x removed via the Novitskys.

Cecil Thurman Phillips, Jr. was born October 8, 1916 in Anderson County, Kentucky.  He was the husband of Martha Ann Surran, daughter of William Earl Surran and Martha Ann Naylor, who is my 3rd cousin 1x removed on my Gauntt line via the Naylors.

Gordon Paul Craig, son of Victor Young Craig and Edith Alice Gantt, was born October 8, 1926 in Denton, Denton County, Texas.  He is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gantts.

Sheryl Berezin was born October 8, 1960 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  She is the wife of Harvey Kardish, son of Israel Kardish and Eva Feldberg, who is my 2nd cousin 1x removed on my Gorodetsky line through the Kardishes.

Meredith Annice Thomas was born October 8, 1963.  She is my 2nd cousin 1x removed.

Laura Turner was born October 8, 1981.  She is my 5th cousin 2x removed.

Blaze Vinton Alexander, son of Phillip Charles Alexander and Jessie Ozley Easlick, and Daria Ann Sigler were married Octrober 8, 1977 in Maryland.  Blaze is my 4th cousin 1x removed on my Gauntt line through the Alexanders.

Jason Christoher Ellis and Raquel Margot Francis were married October 8, 1995.  Jason is my 2nd cousin 1x removed.

Deaths

Mary Ann Gantt, daughter of Joseph Gantt and Mary Ann McGowan, died October 8, 1909 in Center Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania at the age of 76.  She is my 2nd cousin 4x removed via the Gantts.

Jack Garfinkel, son of Yikusee'ael Koifman Gorfinkel and Sora Rivka Mekler, died October 8, 1978 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at the age of about 69.  He is my 2nd cousin 2x removed via the Meklers.

Caroline Catherine Ludeker died October 8, 1996 in Osgood, Ripley County, Indiana at the age of 83.  She was the wife of Norman Henry Hoyer, son of Rollin Henry Hoyer and Bessie Floreen Schwier, who is my 6th cousin 1x removed on my Gauntt line via the Schwiers.

Kathleen Anne Easlick, daughter of Vinton Thompson Easlick and Beaulah Anna Elizabeth Bozarth, died October 8, 2016 in Mount Holly, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of 88.  She is my 4th cousin on my Gauntt line through the Easlicks.

Elizabeth/Edith Jane Gaunt, daughter of James Knox Polk Gaunt and Sarah Naomi Boone, was born March 8, 1887 in Indiana.  She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed.

Joan Elizabeth Craig, daughter of Victor Young Craig and Edith Alice Gantt, was born March 8, 1920 in Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa.  She is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gantts.

Marsha Gerb was born March 8, 1925.  She was married to Israel Garfinkel, son of Yikusee'ael Koifman Gorfinkel and Sora Rivka Mekler, who is my 2nd cousin 2x removed via the Meklers.

Andrew John Fettig was born March 8, 1965 in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.  He was the first husband of Jenepher Hlynn Ellis, my 2nd cousin once removed on my Gauntt line.

Thomas Carrigan and Elena Gaunt, daughter of Isaac Gaunt and Emma Inbridge, were married on March 8, 1906, possibly in New Jersey.  Elena is my 3rd cousin 2x removed.

Henry Hunsberger was born January 23, 1768, possibly in Pennsylvania.  He was married to Catherine Darstein, daughter of Abraham Darstein and Catherine Sellers, who is my 2nd cousin 5x removed through the Sellerses.

Dellaplain Gaunt, son of Daniel Gaunt and Mary Githens, was born January 23, 1803 in the Haddonfield area, Gloucester County, New Jersey.  He is also my 2nd cousin 5x removed.

Anna Frances Jaquett was born January 23, 1838 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  She was married to David Wampole Sellers, son of Samuel Sellers and Barbara Ann Wampole, who is my 3rd cousin 4x removed through the Sellerses.

Theodore Allen Gauntt, son of Isaiah Allen Gaunt and Louisa Lemonyon, was born January 23, 1900.  He is my 2nd cousin 2x removed.

Dorothy Gaynor, daughter of John Francis Gaynor and Wally Mary Ruppert, was born January 23, 1918 in Orange, Essex County, New Jersey.  She is the grandaunt of my half-sister Laurie Sellers.

Helen Fay Craig, daughter of Victor Young Craig and Edith Alice Gantt, was born January 23, 1926 in Denton, Denton County, Texas.  She is my 4th cousin 2x removed through the Gantts.

Sharon Lynn Gaunt, daughter of Everett Elwin Gaunt and Selma Loretta Larson, was born January 23, 1947 in Kings County, California.  She is my 5th cousin once removed.

Annick Sarma was born January 23, 1967 in France.  She is married to Reed Allen Gershwind, my 3rd cousin through my Nowicki line.

Peter Rittenhouse and Sarah Fox, daughter of Emanuel Fox and Anna Margarethe Mack, were married on January 23, 1823 in Germantown, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  Sarah is my 4th great-grandaunt through the Macks.

Deaths

John Geib died January 23, 1886 at the age of 82 in Lake Township, Stark County, Ohio.  He was married to Hannah Sellers, daughter of David Sellers and Sarah Ruth, who is another 2nd cousin 5x removed to me.

Ethyl Fay Davidson died January 23, 1933 at the age of 38.  She was married to Edward Lee Gaunt, son of Arthur Lee Gaunt and Rachel Lavinia Stutsman, who is my 4th cousin 2x removed.

B. L. Sellers

Bertram Lynn Sellers, Sr., son of Cornelius Elmer Sellers and Laura May Armstrong, died January 23, 1995 at the age of 91 in Niceville, Okaloosa County, Florida.  He is my paternal grandfather.

William Lisker Franklin died January 23, 2015 at the age of 72.  He was married to a daughter of Cecil Thurman Phillips and Martha Ann Surran.  Martha is my 3rd cousin once removed through my Gauntt line.
