Francis Maria Bowen was born October 10, 1901 in South Orange, Essex County, New Jersey.  He is the maternal grandfather of my half-sister Laura Sellers.

Benjamin Oscar Gauntt, son of Clifford Benjamin Gauntt and Bertha May Garron, was born October 10, 1923 in New Jersey, probably in Burlington or Gloucester County.  He is my half 3rd cousin 1x removed on my Gauntt line.

Elwin Garry Gaunt, son of Everett Elwin Gaunt and Selma Loretta Larsen, was born October 10, 1942 in Alameda County, California.  He is my 5th cousin 1x removed via the Gaunts.

Martha Diana Gaunt, daughter of Mark Wayne Gaunt and Minnie Louise Lotter, was born October 10, 1947 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.  She is my 6th cousin via the Gaunts.

Eydie B. Yngber was born October 10, 1974.  She is my cousin, I just haven't figured out the exact connection yet.  But I know it's there!

Mikaela Deena Garfinkel was born October 10, 1992.  She is my 4th cousin.

Charles R. Gaunt, son of Benjamin Franklin Gaunt and Elizabeth K. Frazer, and Anna B. Folwell were married October 10, 1865 in Mount Holly, Burlington County, New Jersey.  Charles is my 2nd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

Terry McCarty and Sharon Mae Carter, daughter of Clarence Carter and Malinda Mae Allen, were married October 10, 1982 in Hamiltown Township, Mercer County, New Jersey.  Sharon is my 5th cousin 2x removed on my Gauntt line via the Allens.

David Lawrence Tennenhouse, son of Arnold Tennenhouse and Faye Garfinkel, and Orna Resnekov were married October 10, 1994.  David is my 4th cousin on my Meckler line via the Garfinkels.

Deaths

Hannah Lewallen died October 10, 1840 in Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of about 51.  She was the wife of Reuben T. Gaunt, son of Hananiah Gaunt and Rebecca Mulliner, who is my 3x-great-granduncle.

Margaret E. Gillogly died October 10, 1934 in Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana at the age of 70.  She was the wife of William Allen Gaunt, son of John B. Gaunt and Priscilla Dye, who is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

George Dayton Frake, son of Dayton G. Frake and Alice E. Gaunt, died October 10, 1995 in Burlington Township, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of 80.  He is my 3rd cousin 1x removed via the Gaunts.

Events in My Family Tree: September 30

The Allen sisters are the first recorded double wedding I have found in my family tree.  At least I assume it was a double wedding.  I'd hate to think that they each decided to get married that day and drove their parents crazy by having two separate ceremonies in two separate places.

Joseph Gaunt, son of Hananiah Gaunt and Ann Ridgway, was born September 30, 1740 in Little Egg Harbor Township, Burlington County, New Jersey.  He is my 5th-great-grandfather.

David Nathaniel Preisner was born September 30, 1975.  He is the nephew of my aunt Mary McStroul and her sister Jean McStroul and the 1st cousin of my 1st cousin Andy Meckler and my not-quite-cousin Angela Williams.

Matthew Marek was born September 30, 1987.  He is the 3rd cousin once removed of my half-sister Laura Sellers.

David Michael Allen, son of Clarence Allen, Jr. and Grace Stagnato, and Joyce C. Freund were married September 30, 1972 in Bordentown, Burlington County, New Jersey.  David is my 5th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Allens.

Thomas R. Foster and Ellen Marie Allen, daughter of William Kester Allen, Jr. and Thelma May Price, were married September 30, 1983 in Bordentown, Burlington County, New Jersey.  Ellen is also my 5th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Allens.

James H. Hewitt and Mary Jane Allen, daughter of William Kester Allen, Jr. and Thelma May Price, were also married September 30, 1983 in Bordentown, Burlington County, New Jersey.  And yes, Mary Jane is another 5th cousin once removed on my Gauntt line through the Allens, since she is Ellen's sister.

Gregory Edmund Carter and Kaylette Sue Smith were married September 30, 1988.  Gregory is my 4th cousin.

Robb Gui Wong and Allyson Denby McStroul were married September 30, 2000.  Allyson is the 1st cousin once removed of my aunt Mary McStroul and her sister Jean McStroul and the 2nd cousin of my 1st cousin Todd Meckler, not-quite-cousin Angela Williams, and Mindy McStroul.

Deaths

Thomas Daniel Swain died September 30, 1929 in Norfolk City, Virginia at the age of 57.  He was the third husband of Rachel Anna Armstrong, daughter of Joel Armstrong and Sarah Ann Deacon Lippincott, who is my great-grandaunt.

Robert Gaunt, son of Walter Clayton Gaunt and Lulu May Sherman, died September 30, 2000 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana at the age of 77.  He is my 5th cousin once removed via the Gaunts.

Mildred Ann Allen, daughter of William Daily Allen and Fannie Goldsboro Brown, was born September 8, 1909 in Columbus, Burlington County, New Jersey.  She is my 5th cousin on my Gauntt line through the Allens.

Robert Gaunt, son of Walter Clayton Gaunt and Lulu May Sherman, was born September 8, 1923 in Portland, Jay County, Indiana.  He is my 5th cousin once removed via the Gaunts.

William F. O'Neill was also born September 8, 1923, possibly in West Virginia.  He was the husband of Lois Adele Weaver, daughter of James Henry Weaver and Ada Adelle Allen, who is my 5th cousin on my Gauntt line via the Allens.

Joseph Gantt (originally Gaunt), son of Joseph Gaunt and Mary A. Lobaugh, was born March 9, 1796 in Pennsylvania, possibly in Perry County.  He is my 1st cousin 5x removed.

Joseph Sellers, son of John Leonard Sellers and Elizabeth Wenger, was born March 9, 1828 in Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.  He is my 3rd cousin 4x removed.

John L. Bauer was born March 9, 1907 in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey.  He was married to Elizabeth E. Moore, daughter of Howard Evans Moore and Edith E. Wells, who is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my Owen line through the Moores.

Dorothy A. Pollack, daughter of Isaac Pollack and Bessie Brainin, was born March 9, 1916 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.  She is also my 1st cousin 2x removed, but via the Brainins.

Charles S. Gaunt, son of Hananiah Selah Gaunt and Margaret S. Scott, and Susan A. Haines were married on March 9, 1912, probably in New Jersey.  Charles is my 1st cousin 3x removed.

Joel Rothwax and Ellen Beth Millstein, daughter of Irwin Millstein and Julia Baena, were married on March 9, 1974 in Connecticut.  Ellen is my 2nd cousin once removed on my Gordon line through the Millsteins.

Deaths

Elizabeth Kirby died March 9, 1869 at the age of 75, probably in New Jersey.  She was married to John Gaunt, son of Samuel Gaunt and Achsah Taylor, who is my 2nd cousin 5x removed.

Mary A. McGowan died March 9, 1878 at the age of 72, probably in Pennsylvania.  She was married to Joseph Gantt (see above under Births) and died on her husband's birthday.

John Bowker died March 9, 1910 at the age of about 79 in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey.  He was married to Louisa J. Armstrong, daughter of Joel Armstrong and Catherine Stackhouse, who is my 3rd-great-grandaunt.

Neil Bethell Sinclair died March 9, 1956 at the age of 70 in San Bernardino County, California.  He was married to Elizabeth A. Johnson, daughter of John Daniel Johnson and Elizabeth S. Atkinson, who is my 2nd cousin 3x removed on my Fox line through the Johnsons.

Joseph Henderson died March 9, 2014 at the age of 73 in Seneca, Oconee County, South Carolina.  He was the third husband of Carol Beth Sellers, daughter of Bertram Lynn Sellers, Sr. and Anita Clarice Loveman, who is my paternal aunt.

Rodney Keith Sellers, son of Loren Floyd Sellers and Dorothy Eilene Crawford, was born February 1, 1947 in Lima, Allen County, Ohio.  He is my 6th cousin once removed.

Dean Frederick, son of Walter Henry Frederick and Rachel Lavina Gaunt, was born February 1, 1953.  He is my 6th cousin through the Gaunts.

David Sellers, son of George Sellers and Eleanor Wallick, and Elsie Robinson were married on February 1, 1862 in Independence, Buchanan County, Iowa.  David is my 4th cousin 3x removed.

Selah Benjamin Gaunt, son of Benjamin Selah Gaunt and Hannah Ann Peters, and Amelia Taggert were married on February 1, 1868 in Vincentown, Burlington County, New Jersey.  Selah is my 1st cousin 3x removed.

Max Stewart and Florence Meckler, daughter of Moshe Meckler and Mushe Zelda Nowicki, were married on February 1, 1976 in Westlake Village, Los Angeles County, California.  Florence is my maternal grandaunt.

Samuel Holsinger, son of David Holsinger and Lydia Mack, died February 1, 1821 at the age of 14 1/2 months, possibly in Franklin County, Pennsylvania.  He is my 2nd cousin 5x removed.

Polly Mack, daughter of William Mack and Agnes Gantz, died February 1, 1865 at the age of 65 in Yellow Creek, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.  She is my 1st cousin 6x removed.

Emma Hengstler died February 1, 1903 in Allen or Auglaize County, Ohio in conjunction with the birth of Harry John Sellers (above).  She was married to Charles Andrew Sellers, son of Henry Sellers and Lavina Danner, who is my 4th cousin 3x removed.

Peter Marshall died February 1, 1922 at the age of 52 in Shanghai, China.  He was married to Elizabeth Jaudon Sellers, daughter of David Wampole Sellers and Anna Frances Jaquett, who is my 4th cousin 3x removed.

Mary Mack, daughter of John Mack and Mary Woolsey, died February 1, 1934 at the age of 88, possibly in Ohio.  She is my 3rd cousin 4x removed.

Mary Jane Gaunt, daughter of James Knox Polk Gaunt and Sarah Naomi Boone, died February 1, 1957 at the age of 72 in Santa Cruz County, California.  She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed.

Julian Saul Perlman, son of Abraham Sam Perlman (originally Perlmutter) and Stella Joffe, died February 1, 1997 at the age of 50 in Manhattan, New York County, New York.  He is my 3rd cousin once removed through my Nowicki line.
